SKYBLUE. Project Furniture for Healing

The SKY BLUE project is a global strategic project of small manufacturers in Japan.
We aim to sell products that make use of excellent Japanese new technology, traditional technology, culture, natural environment, in the world.
The first is furniture with a motif of the folding screen used in Japanese culture “tea ceremony”.Originally the furniture did not change, but we gave the screen the color changing function over time.
We will introduce little by little so that everyone can enjoy the story related to this beautiful folding screen.
Even a little, We are happy that some people sympathize with our project and support us.

Introduction

SKYBLUE is a folding screen. We call it “Furosaki Byobu” in Japanese. It features the display of beautiful scenes, for example, an image of the sky with clouds passing by. Our motif is based on an item used in the tea ceremony which is an integral part of traditional Japanese culture. While the screen is traditional, we use modern technology to make it: a SKYBLUE GLASS called Electrochromic. This technology enables us to perfectly capture the flows in nature, for example the transition from night to a blue sky filled with the light of the rising sun. SKYBLUE helps relax our mind in the middle of a busy and noisy society.Experience the SKYBLUE world and enjoy a blend of modern & traditional Japan!
